Recent studies have indicated a significant relationship between the degree of emotional intelligence of organizations and their level of success (Designing an Emotionally Intelligent Workplace: Organizational EQ Development Model ASA 2003).
According to Daniel Goleman, there are five components to emotional intelligence : self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills. At Loka, we look to develop these in a workplace environment.
